My have I missed my blog... and I am terribly sorry that I've been so neglectful. It actually said that my last post was June 24th 2008. Ouch, I thought when I typed in my password after so long my laptop would self-destruct.

My Last entry was about David Beckham and his hot Armani Underwear ads; it's only fitting that my first post back be about his wife's Armani Underwear Ads

Marc Jacobs created this shirt in 2006 while Lil' Kim was in Prison, to support a youth development agency called The Door.
Seriously, I want one of these shirts to add to my collection. I adore it and I don't know why.

These two seem like an odd couple, but that is why I love them.
Lil' Kim is the reason that I would never consider unnecessary plastic surgery.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been super busy, and will be for the next couple of weeks. I'll be better about bringing you guys lots of posts... Promise. ANYWHO...

Maybe it's because I saw the Sex and the City movie this weekend and loved every moment of it!

Or because, I Finally bought Victoria Beckham's Book That Extra Half an Inch.

But all of a sudden I am having the urge to wear heels again. I thought I had given up on the Pain is Beauty concept for a more practical and comfortable option... FLATS!!!

I am indeed a Flats Fanatic... I did the whole Heels for every occasion thing a couple of years ago, and enjoyed it but once the flats epidemic hit, my closet and shoe collection hasn't recovered.

Selita always looks fab, even with the bangs. The small detail on the heels gives them an extra flair.

Mischa shows that you can never go wrong with a classic pair of black pumps.

Mariah is the QUEEN of heels... I saw an episode of Cribs where she actually said she has a naturally high arch and she walks on her tippy-toes. Not sure about the outfit, but I deff. love the heels.

I love this picture of Mary-Kate, I loved that she found a stylish yet casual way to wear heels.

Nikki Hilton has great style in my opinion, well better than her sister.

My ideal pair of heels would be a pair of black, peep-toe, slingbacks. My goal this summer (other than making A's in my 2 summer courses)... Is to find a pair.

This is a growing trend that walks a thin line of being trendy or trashy. It doesn't get more casual than a pair of Denim cut-offs they're like a shorter version of sweatpants.
Nicole looks great in my opinion, but I'm a little confused of why Ashley Tisdale would choose to pair hers with a Louis Vuitton bag!? Of Course MK Olsen put a boho chic twist on her shorts.

Mishca, MK, and Lilo show us the variety of ways to wear denim cut-offs. Mischa chose boots and Florals. MK once again chose an over-sized bag with Aviators. While Lilo paired her shorts with a T-shirt and sneakers.

The Color Purple

Purple has always been my Mom's favorite color as long as I can remember.

Apparently contrary to my beliefs; my mom has great taste

Katharine McPhee wore this simple purple, strapless number to Allure's "Most Alluring Bodies" Exhibition. Those shoes are stunning, and completely make the outfit.

Actress Paula Patton attended as well, and chose to wear this dark purple Grecian Inspired Dress, accented with a gold belt.

Rachel Bilson is casually cute in this little purple dress. The wooden platform heels add height as well as a sense of... umph

Rhianna has been wearing a lot of purple lately. I am addicted to loosely fitting dresses, even with a small frame, I think there is something elegant about it. Elegance is definitely what I'm getting from Rhianna in this pic, no quite so sure about the belt she chose.

Pre-Cellulite Mischa looks ok. The shoes are a bit boxy, and I can't stand a bubble hem.

Tia Mowry looks amazing. This hue of purple is very eye-catching; it pops. I liked that she paired it with plats, but not those flats. A bold color like this deserves to be paired with metallic shoes.

I must admit, I have a bit of a crush on Christy Turlington. It started when I saw her in that Gap Red ad in a yoga pose, in fact it's featured in my very First post. Once again I am in Love with this hue of purple.

Eva Longoria is a wonderful dresser. I love her clothing choices. She knows how to acessories, most Latin women do. I love everything about her outfit here.

Jumpsuits have been popping up everywhere... Especially if they're by Stella McCartney

I saw Sienna in this outfit a long time ago, and I just realized that it was a Jumpsuit and not two separate pieces.

When I first saw this Floral covered jumpsuit on Rhianna, I thought she looked like a That 70's Show reject. I have to admit it grew on me, and apparently grew on actress Angie Harmon as well.

Anita Briem looks stunning in the beige Stella McCartney Jumpsuit with a plunging neckline. I love that she paired it with a cute purple clutch.

Helena Christensen looks amazing in the navy version. It compliments her skin-tone; the beige would wash her out. She chose to pair it with a clutch as well.

I've been following this mag ever since I got a year's free subscription. I must admit, I'm not the type of person that subscribes to magazines. I'd much rather just purchase the ones that I want. I love their strong yet minimalistic covers, and the cover girls themselves. With the somewhat off-beat pictorials and the relevant insights on fashion, media, and music; you'll be addicted. Nylon Magazine deff. has a creative touch like no other.

The ads aren't overwhelming and the issues are far from mediocre, and is worth purchasing for the layout alone. Usually, the cover stories they do always gives a new perspective on the celeb, because they tend not to ask the obvious questions, as many magazines do. My personal fav. was the interview with Nicole Ritchie.

I am a huge fan of the beauty pieces which is often based on classic movies, bands, and even the cover girls themselves.

For the Guys out there interested in a good read...

Nylon for Guys looks equally stimulating. This is the first Men's magazine that I actually may end up purchasing.

Classic White Shirt

An essential piece and any wardrobe, the classic white shirt brings flair to just about anything that it is paired with.

Kristen Davis and Jessica Alba chose to wear their shirts with black, high-waisted, pencil skirts.

Sienna Miller's loose-fitted shirt looks quite stylish when paired with black tights and heels.

Chanel Iman seems to be a fan of tailored white shirts; she wore hers with blue denim as well as black skinny jeans and boots, a look that Keira Knightley seems to be a fan of as well.

Sanaa chose to wear a shirt with a softer side. The ruffled colar is classic but also accentuates her femininity.

Plunging Necklines

Kerry looks fantastic in this eye-opening number. The waist of the dress gives it a vintage look.

This is such a nice gown that Sienna is wearing. I'm a little iffy on the accessories though.

Rhianna looks amazing in blue, which is a rather difficult color to pull off.

I'm sorry, but I think when Nicole was at her thinnest she was also most fashionable, not to say that she isn't now. I love that she's keeping some of her baby weight, she looks healthy now. I love the dress.

Oh Kate this color... I love it, but it doesn't suit you. The dress has an unique cut and lavish material. The deep v-neck with a ruffled collar is a wonderful combination

Dania Ramirez looks stunning, she makes this plunging neckline look trendy rather than racy.
Not a fan of the visible eye concealer though.

Perfection, I love this look. Everything from the beachy hair to the brown eyeshadow with the nude lip. Ashley O's neckline doesn't reveal too much, and I love that.

Joy Bryant manages to wear a plunging neckline with a casual look.

Notice how everyone pictured chose not to wear necklaces, with the exception of Rhianna.

When wearing a plunging neckline you don't want to distract from the neckline itself, so it is best to wear minimal jewelry.

"Prom Tonight"- Not Another Teen Movie

Ok, My boyfriend and I met while in High School, and I was a bit older, think Rhianna and Chris Brown, we're about the same in age difference. Anywho, I took him to My Senior Prom, and Now he's returning the favor. Colleges have 'Formals' but nothing compares to the excitement of PROM. This weekend I will be attending my Boyfriend's prom and I am somewhat excited.

My Dress: It's a floor length BCBG MAX AZRIA Ruched Jersey Knit dress. I got it from a cute little boutique full price, when I could have gotten the SAME exact thing from EBAY tags and all for a 4th of the price(TERESA HILTON). Damn Impulse buys. You win some you lose some, I suppose. I Still LOVE the dress just as much!

Jordin Sparks wore the same dress to the NAACP Image Awards in brown.I like her look, but I needed a bold color lol. I plan to wear a pair of Antique Inspired earrings along with the matching necklace, and a somewhat elegant up-do.

Hair: Like Alicia's, but not so formal... I may have a little hair in my face. I'm still a little 'iffy' on the up-do.

Makeup: I am no makeup expert by any means trust me, but I don't necessarily suck at it either. I want a somewhat simple look, and I love Rhianna's look here, maybe I'll add a few false lashes at the end of my eye to add a natural but more dramatic effect. If Only I had those earrings; I love them.

Hope you guys aren't bored to death with me posting about my prom plans... With Papers and Finals and all the madness of finishing up the semester, Sometimes a girl needs something to look forward to, and Formals just don't do it.

Selma is just too old for this bikini. It even has "Juicy" written across the booty. That's what always turned me off from Juicy Couture. Still, this suit would be perfect for a 12-year old.

The hat, the plain black bathing suit, the handful of sand. Rhianna has just one thing on her mind... FUN. She wasn't worrying about being sexy. I honestly do not like the suit, it just doesn't suit her. It looks like one of those sale bikinis where it takes you 15 mins to find a matching top and bottom.

Apparently Britney's Arse says "I Love Peta", wow I honestly don't know how I read that; I may be wrong. Her hair and the color combination are completely OFF.

Kim Kardashian

A string bikini bottom is probably not the right option for someone who is as well endowed as Kim. Paris Hilton recently disclosed in a radio interview that Kim K's arse looked like "cottage cheese inside of a big trash bag." OUCH! Paris always seems to say awful things about her frienimies, when they are in the public eye a lot. Nicole, Lindsay, and now Kim; Jealous Much!?

Serena has an athletic physique, believe it or not. I would not expect anything less from a tennis champion. I honestly don't think she knows how to dress her body, and this swim suit is no exception.

I love Jennifer Aniston's body, it just looks so healthy. This is an amazing color on her. It looks like a great bikini, but it's rather thin and look uncomfortable from this view.

I am pretty sure Mena Survari put her bikini bottom on backwards... The color, crochet material, and cut are all just awful. This bikini just needs to be burned, because I'm pretty sure not even Heidi Klum could pull it off.

I first saw these Lego Inspired Balenciaga heels on Beyonce and didn't know what to think of them. Let's just say I did not find them attractive... the whole technicolor transformer thing was a bit too much for me. That being said I still consider most of Balenciaga designs innovative as well as astonishing. Balenciaga heels are a one of a kind extravagance... until now.

Steve Madden has created tacky, cheaply made knock-offs for $100 compared to the over $4000 price tag for the Balenciaga. I am a fan of Steve Madden flats, but I am not a fan of copying at the expense of another person's creativity. This is unforgivable Steve Madden.

Only Nicole could remain equally fabulous after having a child. She rarely makes an outing without her sunglasses or her "H" for Harlow pendant. She paired this outfit with a pair of black minnetonkas.
I have actually seen her wearing that top as a dress before, and realized I have the exact same one in teal. It looks as though she tucked hers in. I wish I could try on those Chanel shades, just to see what kind of view I could get out of them.

Here she is in yellow, a color that suits her very well. I like her cut off shorts, she manages to pull them off without looking hill-billie.

I love how she adds a splash of red to this outfit, with the vintage Chanel bag.

She looks so laid back here. I like that she can still be stylish in a plain t-shirt and a pair of jeans. Just add a pair of sunglasses and Tah-Dah, it's no-longer a plain outfit.

I am still looking for the perfect v-neck. Apparently everyone else is, because every time I go to a store, it doesn't fit right orrrr it's only available in Large. I guess I'll have to resort to a Men's small or American Apparel. Nicole looks fab here, I'm still trying to figure out the shoe situation, is she wearing tights underneath her jeans!? I know shes been fond of spanx lately.

Burt's has been a favorite of mine for a long time. They have a variety of natural and even vegan products that can suit your every need. I thought that I would just list a few of my personal favorites.

The Burt's Bees Vitamin E Body and Bath Oil has to be one of my favorite products. 98.5% natural and contains almond and lemon oil. It smells just like lemon drops. I add a tiny cap full to my bath water and it leaves my skin super soft. Sometimes I rub it on my skin after a shower, and it gives me a little pick me up, not to mention radiant skin. I even feel safe using this product in my hair; a couple of drops to damp hair add; moisture, shine, and an amazing scent.

This is the only product I allow to touch my cuticles! Once again I love the lemon scent and the tin lasts forever. With all Burt's Bees Products a little goes a long way. My nails and cuticles look so much healthier after using this product. It's a staple product of mine; I keep a tin next to my bed, in my purse, with my mani/pedi tools, and in my product draw just in case.

This honey lip balm, leaves my lips supple and honey scented. I use it under my favorite gloss or lipstick, and believe it or not it helps with the staying power. I just ran out, so I have to pick up another one, maybe one with sunscreen.

This is one product I haven't tried yet, but am eager to. I can't express how important it is to use sunscreen. esp. on your face. My problem with sun-screen is that, it usually leaves my face oily which leads to break-outs, it's so loaded with fragrances that it dries out my skin, or the spf isn't high enough. This chemical-free sunscreen sounds like the answer to all of my prayers. It's natural, light on the fragrance and it a whopping spf 30.

All black is very difficult to pull off. Sure it's a way to look a little more edgy, but only if you know how to put it together...

Victoria manages to pull off the All-Black look very well. She looks amazingly stylish!

Kate is usually a fav. of mine. But this ensemble is a bit much, and the footless leggings deff. put it over the top!

I love Thandie's look here. The round toe heels with the black tights, are a wonderful combination. She manages to pull off the head-to-toe black look effortlessly.

Selma, this is why I love you. This look is very fashionable.

One of the most fashionable Father-Daughter duos ever! Zoe looks quite classy in all black. The hair ties on the wrist is a habit of mine also. Don't forget to take those off.

My rule is more than one zipper on anything other than a jacket is just plain tacky. I don't like this look at all Mariah.

Wow Tracey Edmonds moves on quickly. I can't stand to see clothing so Tight that you can actually see the spandex stretching within an inch of it's life. She looks ok, but a pretty womanish.

Really... According to reports the couple got a marriage license on April Fool's Day that is valid for 60 days. There have been rumors that the two were to be married today on the 4th, because the 4th has importance to both of them. Both of their Birth dates fall on the 4th on the months, and both have the Roman Numeral IV tattooed on their hands

I don't know about you but I'm rather excited to hear this news... I hope it's true this time. If they do get married today; I hope Jay-Z mentions something at his concert that I'm going to tomorrow night.

Joy Bryant chose to wear her vest with a dress. The beaded necklaces help give it a unique look.

A lot of people have been wearing the cut-off shorts that Lindsay is wearing. I always thought it was a bit tacky. I love her bag, and the Chuck Taylors that she's wearing are on sale at the GAP.Oh Posh, I usually call her Victoria but when she wears something as stylish as this, the old name seems to fit just fine. I love the contrast in the accessories... Red heels with a white Birkin combined with the 'Man Look'-Great look, and one that only VB could pull off.

Kim K, I watched the show last night... I'm hooked. Even with the planned out plots, and the spurious antics; I still enjoy watching it. I must say it was a little disturbing when her little sis got on that Stripper's Pole, and when they taught them about their cycles...

Member's Only Jackets have a new look, but managed to keep the same tagline. "When you put it on, something happens"; yeah you get made fun of... until now. I remember when I worked in retail and I encountered a rather stylish young man who was very well-dressed and wearing a Member's Only jacket... I couldn't control my laughter. No, I'm not that cruel it's just that it reminded me of my dad, and how I would beg him not to leave the house wearing his Member's Only jacket, Because he was the only member left ::insert compulsory laughter here::

You must admit that the jacket does stand out and is somewhat trendy now. Selling at nearly a grand it should be! The gold lambskin jacket that Mariah is wearing can be found at Kitson for $995, but If you want a Member's Only jacket I am sure you can find one in any Vintage store, thrift store, or in the closet of anyone over 4o...jk lol. I like retro trends, so I'll probably be on the lookout for a Member's Only jacket... I just stumbled upon a vintage shop that I'm rather fond of.

It would be definitely be a Shirt Dress... The Mullet is said to be "Business in the front, and party in the back". Though it is an atrocious hair 'style' it does have an important attribute; Versatility!! A shirt dress can give you that same option, it combines the comfort and casual look of a shirt with the sexy and femininity look of a dress.

I love the look that Mischa is wearing. An all black ruffled shirt dress with a casual pair of Ked's.

I remember seeing Eva Longoria at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and thinking her look was Perfection! I loved here beige ruffled number with the black detailing, and she chose to play up the back by wear black accessories.
Christina always seems to go for a sexy look. This short pale pink number shows a lot of leg. Shirt dresses can also be worn with jeans, but then it wouldn't be a dress...but it would still be stylish.
Oh Cassie... I really like this look. I haven't gotten the whole Belt/Dress look down yet, but she nailed it here! I love those boots!

Soon after Amerie was seen in this GAP shirt dress... They sold out! The nude round-toes and the bag complete this look! Mixing inexpensive and expensive is always a good look. I love when celebs do it.

How could you do this to me Jared Leto... HOW!? This movie Chapter 27 better be HEELLLA good!!! It features Lindsay Lohan...so... that's not possible. Her movies have deff. be bombing lately. The movie sounds very interesting; it's about the man who stalked and murdered ex-Beetle, John Lennon. In my opinion Jared Leto band 30 seconds from Mars has some awesome music and he is a talented actor. I'll never forget his role as Jordan Catalano in "My So-called Life" in which he starred as Claire Danes' crush. Chapter 27 has been getting mixed reviews, but it is something I am interested in seeing.

Yesterday was the last day of classes, because of Easter Break. It was relatively warm so I decided to change out of my black skinny jeans and into a short, patterned, silk dress. Little did I know that though it was a beautiful day, it was quite windy. I finished my afternoon class and headed back to the dorm and all of a sudden a giant gust of wind came and blew my dress up! Let's just say is wasn't as glamorous as Marilyn up there, plus the undies that I wore didn't provide much coverage, so basically I was "arsed-out"! LOL, Luckily I go to a women's college and the only girl who witnessed it gave me a look of sympathy and a silent chuckle.

After this incident I am on the prowl for the perfect undies that; A. Give great Coverage, B. Are comfortable, and C. Are thin enough to wear under sheer fabrics...oh yea and let's not forget D. Are a reasonable Price... As a person who believes you can never have enough under-garments, I was shocked to see I had only a few that met this criteria. Believe it or not I LOVE the Selection of intimates that are Available at the GAPbody store.

Just kidding... Apparently some Brands Are paying BIG Bucks in order to have their names mentioned by Carrie Bradshaw in the up-coming Sex and the City Movie. Sex and the City has a huge cult following, so it's no surprise that the brands and places mentioned on the show have one as well. Other brands are jumping on the band-wagon as well, and at any cost. According to a source interviewed by the New York Times

"For that movie, they're paying quite a bit - probably the same amount they'd pay for a celebrity to come to their fashion show [from $10,000 - $60,000]. But if they needed to cut a deal - like shooting at Fashion Week - then there could be some wrangling, like, you can only shoot in Bryant Park if Samantha drives a Mercedes Benz around town, otherwise, you can't do a Fashion Week scene."

Wow, now that's what I call marketing. I just hope that it is not done in a tacky way. I would be really disappointed if I sat through a movie that was reminiscent of a series of commercials and shame-less plugs ekk. Talk about Annoying. Aldo Kalamai Sandals

I am in love with these!!! The perfect summer sandal. I actually prefer the gold pair, but they are selling out like wildfire. I just checked the site and they are officially sold out of the gold. I know stores usually get an abundant amount of "common" sizes, I usually wear a size 6 or smaller depending on make, so I end up lucking up or have no luck what so ever with shoes.

I'm also intrigued by the concept of Gladiator sandals... At first I was not a fan of them, but I think that they are a trend that has to kind or "grow" on you.

Rachel Bilson has to be one of the cutest 27 year-olds I've ever seen... she doesn't look her age at all. Some girls just have all the luck. I love her sandals here.

Miley Cyrus seems to be a sweet girl... I may not like some of her choices in clothing, but she's still young, It's deff. understandable. I love her cardigan and tank combination, but the bottom half of her outfit doesn't seem to go. I still want her sandals.

I love this look Vanessa Hudgens is wearing... excluding the sandal straps over the jeans... that's a NO-NO. It's still a well put together look though.

Designed by Kiran Rai, Sir Alistair Rai includes her line of tees, dresses, and scarves promoting peace, love, and happiness. The stay-at-home mom came up with the idea for Sir Alistair Rai (she made up the name), after contemplating raising kids during wartime and being inspired by Gandhi's message of love and compassion. While her desi heritage comes out in many of her designs, emblazoned with Oms, along with images of Ganesh, there's a lot more to Kiran's designs.

She also created the infamous "Obama For Change" popularized by none other than Halle Berry and later by Kim Kardashian.

I Live for Nars Cosmetics...
Every time I stop by Sephora I am lured in by the clever names and the unique colors. My favorite lip gloss would have to be Orgasm hands-down. This peachy nudish pink with gold undertones rocks my world.

I even pair it with the blush/bronzer duo Orgasm/Laguna. I love everything about this Duo, even down to the rubbery like, chic, case that prevents cracking. These colors are completely natural looking on all skintones.

Now for a sweet smelling scent that is not the least bit over powering: Amazing Grace by Philosophy

As you can see it is a Best of Sephora 2007 Award Winner. This scent has an Amazing following! I'm not surprised because I am very picky when it comes down to my scents. I don't have Many!! The only other scent I wear is Body Kourvos by Yves Saint Laurent, and that has been discontinued, I have been rationing my bottle since I bought it by chance in Aruba a couple of Christmases ago, I searched for it in soo many fragrance stores... It took a lot of sniffs, sneezes, and awkward glances from sales associates to find a store that had just two bottles left... Enough about that.
